Aldeya was founded by Sarah Nandi, a K-12 educator and AI literacy expert. After years of struggling to use edtech solutions built by people who had never set foot in a classroom, sitting through PD not taught by her peers, and many late nights reading all things education, she decided to build the resources she wished she'd had.
Aldeya takes its name from aldea — Spanish for village. Because the best resources aren't built for the community, they're built as a community.
